I am posting this update as general info on what's changed in narrat and some important info about it.

Update on Narrat

There have been many changes to narrat since I originally published it to itch.io. It has a few new features, better documentation, many bugfixes, more helpful error messages during development, and it has been used and tested more to be considered effectively production ready.

Some things worth mentioning:

• As of now, the current version of narrat is 0.8.5. I'd advise all of you to update as it contains many bugfixes and improvements compared to the last uploaded version on itch.io. There isn't yet an official guide on how to upgrade, but I gave some tips and explanations in this comment which should be a good reference for upgrading your engine version.
• The engine is much more stable and performant, and has been a lot more battle-tested. But it is still a small engine made in my spare time and can still have issues. The best way to get help with issues is to open an issue on GitHub and give as much info about the issue as you can.
• You can also open GitHub issues to request features or improvements
• I have changed the content of the download on itch.io to be a simple pdf guide instead of the engine itself. This is so that people know how to find and use the latest version of narrat when getting it on itch, rather than downloading a potentially outdated build (as I often forget to update the itch page).

New games using Narrat

There is now a released game made with Narrat: Will This Bitter Night Bring Change? - Two Women in Trouble created by Mia Cain. You should try her game!

Hopefully there will be more games to add to this update section in the future :D
